a bit of news
Havent written in a while... since we got back from australia we've moved in a cute apartment in the glebe. Im working at Bija Bijoux, a jewellery shop carrying mostly sliver jewellery and canadian designers and Jack is currently working at bridgehead (an all organic, fair trade coffee shop) and working for the A channel News shooting and editing. We are seriously missing Noosa, our friends there, and the ocean. So we are most likely going to visit in May. I dont feel as though i totally belong here right now and would like to go back to noosa and so jack and I are looking into going to School at the University of the Sunshine Coast and living in Noosa again. The school year starts in February so if everything works out maybe we'll be back and cruising in a new kombi to the beach. I hope so. Time to save up some money and look forward to visiting nooooosa again. life is too short to just dream, anything is possible if you put your mind to it. Home sweet home
Home at last. Christmas was great, especially the Christmas Day arrival with family waiting for us. New years was alright, dinner with friends and a relaxing time at home to welcome the new year. Jack lives in the country now which is a bit of a drive but its a beautiful country getaway. We live 25 minutes apart a little differnt than living in van together... pretty sucky actually.... we'll get through it though. Living with the parental unit all over agian isnt exactly exciting but its alright for now :) Gotta love 'em. So we're home and now we have to figure out what to do! I've looked into a few things and just got a job the other day! At a little boutique called Bija Bijoux, its a pretty awesome modern jewellery shop, sells a lot of wicked stuff by Canadian designers. I think Ill really enjoy it and learn a lot while taking a few courses on the side and designing my own jewellery :) Jack is car shopping for now so he can have a way to get out of the country and do his own job searching. All is good. We chat about all of our Noosa/Australian memories all the time. It was such a great time and our friends were so awesome. I had a dream of Noosa last night. Dane you were in my dreams again! wierd. Love from Mon and Jack Current Mood: creativeCurrent Music: jazz remix | | Friday, December 16th, 2005 | | 12:42 pm |

Yeah, its going to take from 10am the 22nd till 6:30am the next morning. The whole day and overnight. Sucky. We'll be in Sydney for two nights and then we're off!! Arriving Christmas day, just in time for dinner :) What are everyones plans for New Years?!??!? BUMMMER
So we got back to Noosa from our road trip thinking we were moving in with a friend, an awesome location in sunshine right by the beach. Would of been awesome if we werent let down. So we were kind of confused with what to do now that we were back. We dropped our van at Kombi Shop and headed back down the coast to Byron with Jake. There was a book launch party that we went for. The book that was launched was by a good friend of Jakes, Andrew Crocket. Its called Switchfoot and its a book on surfing, art, music. So anyway the party was alright, met a few cool people and stayed the night chez Andrew. Thanks for that! We woke up to stop for coffee at the mooooo cafe and check the surf. Ended up surfing Wategos, going for a really yummy breakfast, then surfing the pass, hanging out for a bit and the boys surfing a few more times in the afternoon. Went for legendary pizza with Jake and Keith, with the company of a few ladies from Holland. Stayed the night at Andrews again. Tuesday went to one of the beautiful back beaches of Brokenhead via a short siting of George Greenoughs house! Its a pyramid. Wicked. The beach was amazing, quiet and secluded. Went for lunch, stopped at the Byron Bay Chocolate Factory (legendary), jumped in the back of Jakes kombi and headed back to Noosa. All in all, good times had by all. Our van is still in the shop, thanks to great friends we had somewhere to sleep last night but we'll have to figure something out for tonight if its not fixed today. We're having a bit of a shitty time, having our kombi in the shop with all of our stuff in it, clothes, food, etc. We're homeless at the moment and it sucks. No doubt fixing it will take a good chunk out of our bank accounts as well. Its hot as hell outside, it was 36 in the shade the other day, unreal. And its even hotter when you dont have much to do other than wander around. by foot. Oh Im sure everything will come together and we'll figure something out. We've made reservations at our favorite Sushi restaurant for Christmas dinner :) Although they're closed for Christmas and New years so we're having it this sunday the 18th, their last day open before the holidays. E mail us. We're lonely at the moment :) Love you. Monica and Jack xoxoxoxoxoxoxox Current Mood: blahCurrent Music: David Grey | | Saturday, December 10th, 2005 | | 12:10 pm |
gourmet pizza...
welcome back...jack...it is ONE MIIIILLLLION degreeees out sizzle. back to Noosa that is, and man does it feel good to be back. There is just something special about this place. It feels like home, for now, not like home home, but you know what I mean.We got caught in a storm on the way back, a real big storm that lasted almost 3 hours and caused our van to be busted. There was so much water on the roads that it flooded our alternator, causing it to seize...SUCKS...but thats life, it'll be fixed soon and for now we just park on hills, so we can roll start haha! awsome..."sorry cant go there...no hill." we got back to noosa to find that people had been betting on how long it would actually take us to get home, jake was closest with his one week guestimate. hahahaha...good on ya mate! Last night was Gourmet Pizza at the sunpad...we all brought along some toppings, that were collectivly bought on a hilarious outing to coles (groceria). We had the oportunity to meet two awsome people, from Japan, that are here to surf for a while, they were at the sunpad as they are friends of that whole crew, Kentaro the famous Japanese chef( http://moura.jp/lifeculture/kentaro/ ) , a la Jamie Oliver style, books, TV show...the whole shebang and his friend Tok (sp????)who is the head designer, founder, owner, of the very cool "Truck Furniture" ( www.truck-furniture.co.jp/ ) Both are awsome guys with really cool stories. Kentaro over saw the pizzas with his talent for food. the pizzas were legendary, dough made by jake, sauce from scratch, cheeses, olives...everything you could imagine. A few bottles of wine on the side, some wicked french music suplied by lucas...so damn good. more to come...stay tuned. all you need is love. Jack a l'attaque et Monica la plus belle fille au monde. Change of plans!
Hello everyone. A little change of plans. We've made it down to Evans Head. Its been great, Byron did grow on us a little the more time we hung out. The wind is rediculous down here so we havnt been able to get much surf which is bumming us out. We'll hang out in Byron the next few days and then head back up to Noosa just before Christmas :) We'll keep you updated and explain later. Love ya! Warning #1
Heyhey! So we hit the road yesterday heading for Coolongatta, the Tweed Coast... Byron Bay... we didnt really know where we'd end up! We had a nice coastal drive stopping in Coolongatta and taking a look around (onshore SLOP), not much to surf, then kept driving towards the Tweed Coast which we had heard good things about. It was a beautiful drive/day, we stopped for a swim as it was SOOOO HOt and HUMID! Then we decided to keep driving to Byron Bay and check out what the hype was all about. To be honest we're not quite sure... its okay but its not amazing! We had a drive around, walked about, had yummy thai for dinner, and found a nice parking spot at Wategos Beach to spend the night. As expected though we woke up to a warning from the damn ranger telling us we cant stay over night where is says "No parking from 1am to 5am) haha. There are signs everywhere we had no choice! Thats about it. We'll probably head out today heading.... I dont know where, we'll have to take a look at our map :) We miss Noosa already :( Take care! Love ya! bioluminescence and luciferin
A couple of days ago, Saturday, mid day to be exact Jacob,Keith,Monica and I set off on the experience of a life time. It was decided that we would take a trip up to double island point, to surf and spend the night on the beach. Double island point is about an hour drive across the river and down the beach from noosa, most of the entire journey is across the hardend sands at low tide, with the exception of the short drive to the noosa north shore ferry. It is common practise among fishermen and surfers alike to make the trip to the north shore and drive up the beach in their jacked up super offroad 4x4 monster trucks, however when we made the trip we all jumped into Jakes early sixties split window VW kombi and set off. With eight boards strapped to the roof, blankets sleeping bags and water inside we hit the beach full speed ahead, only slowing down momentarily to get through the crossings from the soft sand down to the harder tidal sands of the beach. 50 miles of open beach, flying at 80k's ocean on one side and giant dunes on the other, what an experience, we got some seriously funny looks from all the guys in there big manly beach off roaders as we flew on by. awsome. after an hour or so we came to the point, a huge hill of rock jutting out of the ocean with a perfect sandy beach. perfection. The waves at double island point are amazing, coming out of deep water and forming on perfect sand bars under the point they were the best waves that I have ever surfed, although quite heavy and intimidating at a solid overhead size. The one side of the point is an imense right hand point break that peels off for miles, the side we surfed is the more powerfull left hander that barrels off down the beach and is very hollow and fast. My first wave felt as if a freight train was chasing me down the line, it took some serious re-adjusting to sus out riding them, but all said and done I had the wave of my life, thus far. After surfing and a little R and R we decided to head through the cutting across the point to the other side and on down to the sleepy town of rainbow beach, a little bit of off roading, alot of sand and beautiful scenery later we got there, stocked up on some essentials and then headed back to D.I. where we set up camp for the night...a few pitch black missions into the bush for firewood, in the presence of evil and quite dangerous spiders and we were off like boy scouts building a fire that eventualy burned all night. The most amazing thing about this trip happened that night, when we all decided to go for a night time swim, in the ocean at some times and in some places a wonderous phenomenon occurs it is called "bioluminescence" or "phosphorescence" when we got into the water and splashed around, lights would apear, the ocean would sparkle and when a wave would come in, the white wash would be alive with tiny sparkling lights, like sparks dancing in the ocean, it was unbelievable, you could throw water on yourself and it was like sparks falling off of you. The phenomenon is quite amazing and occurs when a certain type of alge that contains luciferin is present in the water becomes excited it emits light...bioluminescense. Heres the scentific explanation : Microscopic single celled (unicellular) algae called Dinoflagellates cause phosphorescence. These are present throughout the ocean, and emit light when they are mechanically disturbed, for example by a boat paddle, the arm of a swimmer or wave action. This leads to a chemical reaction within the organism, resulting in light production... Basic Facts of Bioluminescence Bioluminescence is the light produced by a chemical reaction that occurs in an organism. It occurs at all depths in the ocean, but is most commonly observed at the surface. Bioluminescence is the only source of light in the deep ocean where sunlight does not penetrate. WOW eh! yeah! so that was really really REALLY cool...we headed back to the "camp" and got ready for bed...bed...um...a blanket on the sand, with sand for a pillow...haha, awsome...looking up into the pitch black night sky with seriously millions of stars. we slept, kinda, it was damp, but all in all not all that bad, we woke up at 3:45 to the fire still flickering away and the sun rising up out of the ocean, with only the hundreds of waking crabs poiking up out of the sands around us,they are the funniest little buggers... not too long after we were out in the surf, with no one around. after having surfed our brains out, we had to sit, and wait, for the tide to drop so that we could make our way home, so we slept, tried to find shade, played around in the sand...etc for a few hours and then set off back down the beach to Noosa, where we hopped in our Kombi, said our goodbyes and hit the road. a few hours drive later and we ended up in surfers paradise, not so much a surfers paradise, but home of one of Monicas relitives who we have been staying with for the last 2 days. There isnt much to surfers, well for us anyway, its kind of like las vegas on the ocean, and a little much for us. We have had a wonderful time here though enjoying a boat ride and too much wine with Jeff and Lorraine and friends, over dinner at their beautiful house. were off to Coolongata today to check out the legendary surf spots, although we'll probably just snap a pic and head on down to the less busy, more down to earth area around the tweed coast of northern New South Wales...no more Queensland...for now. we'll keep you posted and try to post pics ASAP. we love you all and miss you tons. quick...go get the ark...
friggin rain. Honestly, when it rains in this country...IT RAINS.for DAYS.So far it has been absolutly POORING down a la cats and dogs for 2 days, with no sign of slowing down, yesterday we experienced the most rainfall in an hour for the last 113 years! Hastings street flooded, noosa hill colapsed and a mud slide took out one of only 2 roads into town and we found a couple of leaks in our van, which coinsidentaly has all of our things in it. It was raining so hard that we had to take refuge in a covered parking lot for a supermarket, and in the hour we were down there a good six inches of water covered the floor. While we were down there I got a hold of some weather stripping and put new door seals on all the doors int he van eliminating the leaks...im sure it wouldnt have leaked if the water hadnt been coming down like it was going out of style. oh and i was running to the hardware store full tilt in the pissing rain, and i hit the greasy pavement and ate it. I slid for a good distance, skinning my knee, ankle, and foot. not too bad, but not great when you are soaking wet, bitter, bloody...and living in a van. not my crowning moment. due to the awsome weather we stayed at the sun pad last night, which was uber cool, we drank cocktails, listened to music, made art and had a good time. We woke up kinda early this morning as Monica was WORKING at Costa Noosa for an hour or so to help out...Jake and I stopped in for a coffee as i was on my way to do the extra cleaning that we got suckered into at our old unit. What a farce. I really feel as though we were cheated, as when we moved in it was no where near as clean as they expected, and the things that they asked us to come rectify were borderline rediculous, but we did them as we really need our bond back (which we got btw) We made it very clear how we felt about the situation after we were done, which achieved nothing, but made us at least feel a bit better. we surfed teatree in the rain this arvo. It was shit house. better than working though. and now were here...hiding out from mother nature in any way we can, maybe a movie tonight is in order... oh...I have had an idea...for a film...keep you posted. cest ca. la vie est belle! salut. I can taste the freedom.
we dropped off the keys to our place this morning, so all that is left is a little inspection (insert crossed fingers here) and then we get our bling bling bond back and...were off, we actually slept in the van last night, as the place had been cleaned and we were over it, we did however stop in this morning to do a final check over and unplug the fridge...etc and to our suprise, there was a pair of shoes infront of the door, that was unlocked, and upon further inspection we found a friend of our EX-room mate sleeping in the room...WHAT THE F@$* (words that describe the thoughts in both our heads)anyway, we werent having any of it, and promptly asked her to leave...BUH BYE...that was kind of wierd like really wierd, but swiftly dealt with so thats okay. Oh i almost forgot, we slept in sunshine last night, woke up at 6:30 and within 3 minutes of waking up we were running full speed into the ocean and diving in...GOOD MORNING SUNSHINE!!!!!!what a way to start the day, wanna feel alive??try it...esp if its winter in canada, okay, maybe not...but it was cool, trust me. We did coffee at Costa Noosa as per norm, and monica is now gonna be helping them out in the mornings for a little bit of pocket change this weekend, which is really nice. other than that, its really rainy, theres a strong North easterly wind and the surf is mostley blown out, im sure we'll find a sheltered wave this arvo... thats it for now, we'll keep you posted. oh and i almost stepped on a little tree snake last night on a walk to the beach, he was long and skinny and had a face like a sharp pencil, pencil face we'll call him. okay? okay! Bye for now. le Jack and le Monica. ciao ciao. Current Mood: busyCurrent Music: some trash as per usual | | Wednesday, November 30th, 2005 | | 3:41 pm |
Packing SUCKS.
Alrighty, the house is almost clean, the van is almost full, and we just spent $250 on sending two boxes (30kg) home..... booo to that. It had to be done. They'll arrive in 2-3 months. We also payed our last fees/ rent today which was nice but pricey once again, they'll take all of your money if they can. Jerks. Anyway other than all of that stupidity the weather is 27 degrees and beautiful, we're excited to move along down the coast, but before that a good time with all of our friends after all of this packing and cleaning will be awesome. Today was my last day of work!!!! YES! No more Billabong for me. I was supposed to work for another week but my boss just got back from holidays and forgot about me and didnt put me on the roster... fine with me though! We're ready to hit the road and relax for a little while. We have had a really amazing time here in Noosa and we've met the most beautiful people, its sad to leave but I reckon we'll be back forsure. We're just getting ready to move into our van, packing everything up in tubs and cleaning our place like mad!! (ps did we ever mention the mushroom we found growing out of our bathroom wall...HA!) Jack hooked up a dc- ac power inverter in our van so we can charge our mobile battery and camera battery while we drive. We also got an antena so we can listen to the radio/news. We'll be sending a box of crap home tomorrow which will probably cost a fortune but we have to do it! We've collected more than we thought :) Its all good. We have never mentioned the most amazing coffee we have every morning. Costa Noosa Espresso, the best start to your day ..mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Such a good place to chill before you go to work. Costa Noosa Coffee----> THE BOMB!
The past few days have been pretty busy and full of excitment. Tuesday afternoon Will and Rachel Arrived (Will being Jacks cousin from London and Rachel being his partner) They'll be visiting Australia and Rachels family/ friends for 3 months and decided to stop by Noosa to say hey to us! We've been busy showing them this beautiful town, going for walks in the National Park, Surfing, Sunshine Beach, scenic drives... random nights with all of our friends, the BEST gourmet pizza in Noosa, the BEST ice cream in Noosa, and we had the BEST sushi in Noosa at Wasabi last night. Not to forget! the sushi was after Jack and I took a two hour course at Costa Noosa Espresso learning all about making the BEST coffee :)! It was awesome. The night was AMAZING! to say the least. Yeah we've just been having a lot of fun. In the midst of all of this fun and excitment we found out there is a new tenant to move into our place asap. So this Wednesday night coming up is our last day sleeping in our cozy bed in our spacious room, and waking up Thursday morning to have a warm shower. But who needs a shower anyway? We never use it... We have to do a MEGA clean up before we leave including getting the carpets cleaned.. boo to that, they inspect friday and the new people move in Saturday. We will both only have a week or so of work left and then we'll be hitting the highway for a road trip!! We'll head south with no big plans. What we really need to do is start organizing our Kombi so its ready to live in and send a box or two of STUFF home because it wont all fit anymore. It rained most of the day today, we went for a swim in the rain at sunshine untill the rain stopped and then took a walk to A- Bay and fished! Everyone caught a few fish, Rachel caught a really funky looking spiky one! Tomorrow we plan on going to the Eumundi Markets with Will and Rachel, I work for a whole 3 hours tomorrow (YES!) and then who knows what we'll do. Thinking of everyone, enjoy the snow for us! Talk Later. Love Monica and Jack* Current Mood: calm | | Monday, November 21st, 2005 | | 6:33 pm |
shaka brah!
This past wednesday we had the pleasure of an absolutly cracking swell hitting the points of lovely Noosa Shire for the first time in a while, naturally we headed to teatree for around noon to score the best tide. When teatree is working it is the most mindblowingly perfect right hand pointbreak that peals off down the rocky shore of the bay like clockwork. It was awsome, but it got very crowded as every surfer and his dog figured it out pretty quick and headed on down for a wave, at one point i stopped counting at 35 people and there were plaanty more out and about...still...awsome waves were scored, until I fell and bonked my nose on a rock and split it open pouring blood all over the place and making a bloody mess. As usual i shook it off pretty quick and hit the water on my new FISH to try it out on the ideal walls of water, I got one awsome wave...and then a board colided with mine and put a big fin chop in the rail, a chunk about a 3 inch square was taken out of it. it was a big big shame and kind of a gut wrenching blow to me as I had just spent ALOT of money on it. Dane took it and is currently fixing it, he is the best at repairing boards and should be able to patch it up good as new. Anyway. All in all the day was wicked. soon after we got home, K-man (keith) called up and told us that there would be a small group of people venturing out to teatree that night to surf the bay on the full moon, so OBV we were all over it and headed out wielding snacks, blanket and a lantern. When we got there we made a fire on the beach and got set up on a rock and hit the water, Monica didnt because she was too tired from surfing all day and Dane stayed on shore to take photos and watch the fire. it was really cool just enough light to see the waves and the moonlight shimmering off the water, a really surreal experience, from out the back you could just hear people taking off on waves and hooting all the way in to the beach...very cool, kind of wierd dropping in to a quite sizable wave not being able to see anything until you got going.freeeeaky. After riding for a bit we all headed in and sat around the fire warming up and eating. Saturday night we went to Halse Lodge (local backpackers, kind of a hippy hangout) with Brendon and Chris, Kisia was there too, during the night between jugs of Tooheys New we met a really cool french (from Paris) girl, who ended up being our friend for the weekend. Saturday night was pretty much a blur, with way too much beer being consumed and way to much hilarious convorsation, we ended the night in this little shoe box of a bar behind cafe le monde where we met Jai and the hilarity continued. The next morning, somehow we got up early, and went for coffee and breaky in Sunshine, we picked up Elodie at Halse lodge and headed off to the Smoked Tomato. Monica and I, along with Elodie, Chris and Kesia, woke our selfs up with muffins and eggs and all that morning food goodness. After that we all went to the beach and endulged in some serious surf matting. *we just bought an inflatable surf mat, quite possible the funnest kids toy ever to fall into childish adult hands, its pretty much a little air matress with handles that you can catch waves on lying on top...it is wicked...you almost drown everytine from laugh so hard all the way down the wave.* We headed home after that and decided that we would meet again at tea tree at 3 so, we did that with the exception of Monica who got called in to work, as usual...:( . stupid work garbage face, it wasnt all that bad as the weather tunred for the worst, the waves were crap and it was cold, we still hung out there for a while and even saw a Koala to the delight of our new french friend. From tea tree we went to sierra for another coffee, and waited till Monica was done at work. We then all went BACK to sunshine weilding a bottle of wine and ate Fish and chips overlooking the beach...AND THEN...we went back to Hastings street and got MASSIMOS...the greatest icecream EVARRRRRRRRRRR!!! sooo we pretty much over endulged our selfs, but had a great day that ended up ironicly again at halse lodge where we met up with Jake and Keith and drank loads and loads of water. Elodie ended up being a great friend to all of us and we all had an awsome weekend. OH and not to forget...monica got a hair cut, and looks as good as ever with her new do. hellooooooo...hi
it was heidi's birthday on saturday, so of course, saturday night was a get together in a park. not the same park, this one was in NoosaVille, on the river. It was a really mellow get together, with the manditory barBQ with all the usual suspects. the night was super chilled out and ended up at first point with icecream from Massimos(GREATEST EVER). At some point along the night Dane was saying how he missed Belinda (his gf who is out of town) and how he wasnt eating well, and I said, "Dude, I'll cook for you" atthis very moment it just so happend that Monica rocked up with some indian food from down the street, and it all came together, we were all sitting on the grass sampling the curry goodness and it was decided that Sunday night would be an indian dinner party at our place. enter chef jack. A solid trip to the grocery store and a couple (alot) of dollars later we were off and rolling, I started cooking at 4:30...the menu for the evening was to consist of: -Popadoms -Pakora -Naan Bread -Rogan Josh curry with chic peas and onion -Tika massala with potato and cauliflower -coconut and corriander curry with lentils, zuchini and carrots around 6ish chef chris showed up wielding more food, he was in charge of the non-ego selections which included: -Chicken Vindaloo -chicken rogan josh we cooked like we have never cooked before and it was hot as ...um yeah...hot as.(hence the lack of shirts) (pics) Tina was bringing a rice cooker and a bag of rice, and at like 6:30 Dane, Luke and Keith came over with beer and some of the greatest dip known to man "feta and basil" along with a ciabatta loaf...not long after monica got back from the bottlo with 2 bottles of reisling and the Pakora from the local indian joint. I was busy cooking popadoms and juggling 3 currys while chris cooked away on the meaty dishes, kisia came up from downstairs while Tina got busy with the rice cookah and Insa got lost trying to find the place, when she finally got there she said she could smell the food a block away (our neighbours prolly hate us) (we hate them so thats ok) what a wicked night, word around town is that we are the bomb cooks, we all ate well, really well. The convorsation was hilarious and everyone had a great time. left-overs were a hot ticket item. after Dane Luke Keith and insa left the rest of us went out for a night time walk on the beach. A perfect way to end a perfect evening. dinner partys rule, beautiful food and beautiful people mix well. see ya. washing the dishes sucked. but i did it. check the pix you know the routine : http://photobucket.com/albums/a83/JackandMonica/ Current Mood: thirstyCurrent Music: some lame add (maroochydore toyota?) | | Thursday, November 10th, 2005 | | 5:38 pm |
party in the park
hello. my name is Jack. I am going to tell you a story. but before that, ill just fill you in on a couple of the less hilarious goings on in Monica and Jack-land. we broke our lease, thats ok though as we still live there untill someone else moves in, were still paying untill then which is le suck, but we have a couple coming to see the joint tomorow arvo...schweet. OUr mobile phone went pear shaped today, and is now kaput. We bought a new, improved one, $130 we didnt want to spend, but kind of a thing we need kind of thing ya know? word. alright on with the show. Yesterday was wednesday, sometimes known as hump day, or on this paticular one it was Insa's Birthdiddy, yo know "its the B the I the R the T the H, Birthdiddy...."maybe not? NO? okay. it seems that here in the land down under, the act of having an out door party in a park, with all the trimmings...loud music, heaps of people, drunken debauchery...etc is not frowned upon like it is in the great white north. serioulsy, no one cared, no one was rediclulous, but it was still a party, and everyone was cool with it. man o man, what a hilarious mix of modernday hippys and surfers, the pictures tell the story better than I can, but i will say that somewhere along the line a motorcycle was ridden down a grassy hill a baguette was eaten, morton jokes were told, and 5 old enough to know better people ended up fully clothed in a swimming pool in the wee hours of the morning.Mostley every one was really chilled out, an awsome social mix, sitting on the grass with music and drinks and good people. Dane was on fire as usual, Jake was well...jake, and chris was a legend.Well anyway, i know feel like crap having had little sleep, and an early start at work. however, the beautiful night the caused me to feel like crap was such an awsome experience it was worth it, everyone there was so genuine and real, all of the conversation was really engaging and meaningful...i guess it was just nice to have a big social gathering with real fun people, without all th ego that is all too common these days. check the picachus... heres da linkyyyy, you know the routine: http://photobucket.com/albums/a83/JackandMonica/love peace and surf.
